Interiors
Five passengers could easily seat in the 2007 Ford Fusion. A telescope-based steering wheel, foldable front passenger seat and flexible heated driver seats were standard offerings on the 2007 Fusion, while an in-dash six-CD changer was available optionally. It had a trunk capacity of 15.8 cubic feet.
Engine Performance
2007 Ford Fusion used a 2.3-liter four-cylinder base engine that developed 160 horsepower rated at 6,500 rpm. The other one was also a 3.0-liter V-6 engine, which could produce 221 hp. Both standard and optional engines had intake variable camshaft timing, electronic throttle control, and 4-valves for each cylinder. The base engine was matched to a five-speed automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual gearbox; however the V-6 powered engine could work with only a 6-speed automatic transmission.
