Ford Fusion Front Bumper Removal
Front bumper removal may become essential even if you’re trying to install an aftermarket front grille on your Ford Fusion. Therefore, even if you don’t really need a front bumper replacement, it is advisable to learn the Ford Fusion front bumper removal process.
Overview
You may have to get rid of the black plastic front bumper license plate holder for the older models; however, it is not essential in the 2010 Fusion.
If you wish to install the additional bracket on your Fusion (it may be compulsory in certain locations, and optional elsewhere; so check local laws), then you may drill out couple of holes, and secure it with pop rivets; two round circles on face – about 6″ apart. If you just punch at the center, the backing of license plate mount may come out.
Beware!
The installation of the new bracket on your Ford Fusion may not be too complicated, but there’s something bad involved with it; you’ll be left with two 1/4 inch holes in the bumper, which may not look too pretty on a new car.
Beware of this aspect; don’t regret after installing the bracket!
