Ford Fusion Problems

The Ford Fusion is an excellent performing vehicle, but just as every coin has a flip side, there are few Ford Fusion problems that have been troubling the Fusion owners.

Glare From Upper Glove Box

Sure thing, the new Fusion looks cool, and runs well, but there are minor issues in its interior region. Firstly, the build quality of the interiors isn’t that great. Secondly, you may find it difficult to deal with the glare from upper glove box.

It definitely needs a dash board cover to minimize glare from upper glove box, which isn’t really available by default.

Transmission Slipping Problems

Majority of the Ford Fusion owners had have their share of trouble with the 6 speed auto transmission; mainly the transmission slipping problem. The manual transmission on the other hand, has been found to be fairly good, and trouble-free.

There hasn’t been a recall on the transmission slipping problems yet, so you’ll have to wait and watch what Ford is really up to. Basically, the Ford dealership may not accept the transmission slippage problem to be one of the major Ford Fusion problems (and it isn’t really one either); but, it may definitely cause a lot of problems during low range gearing.
