Firstly, all systems must be checked for working condition. All instructions from the remote starter kit must be read and understood. Keep the required tools like insulation tape, multi-meter, wire strippers, solder, soldering iron, screwdriver set etc ready. The panel under the steering wheel must be removed and the relevant wires to connect the remote starter are to be identified. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery so as to provide electrical isolation.
Now, you need to disconnect the standard connections like ignition, power; and various accessories like alarm, radio and temperature control systems. The remote starter wires have to be connected to the corresponding transmitter/receiver modules. Multiple wires must be connected through relays. Reconnect the battery wires and check for the working of the remote starter.
